Appearing with Craig Giles at Wagga Rules Club

Appearing with Craig Giles at Wagga Rules Club

A  great night with lots of laughs when Mandy was asked by Craig and Roz Giles  to entertain alongside Craig at the Wagga Rules Club on the 7th December.  A very good crowd at the club enjoyed the evening and the repertoire of songs presented by both Mandy and Craig, with the evening providing a great opportunity for Mandy to sing a selection of her songs alongside Craig and also accompany Craig with some harmonies. Mandy really enjoyed the evening and many thanks to Craig and Roz for their support and the opportunity to entertain with Craig at the Rules Club.

Wagga Country Music Afternoon

Wagga Country Music Afternoon

What a fantastic afternoon performing at the Wagga Commercial Club along with John and Christine Smith for the Wagga Wagga Country Music Club. A large crowd attended to help launch John and Christine’s’ new album “Unsuitably Dressed”, and to be able to support them during the afternoon was a great honour. Many thanks to those who purchased CD’s and look forward to catching up again in the near future.

Nationals Xmas in July

Nationals Xmas in July

Honoured to have been invited back to entertain members of the National Party at their Xmas in July celebration at Temora Services Club. A fantastic night and great to mix with some of the young Nationals although the trivia competition was rigged against our table. How are the younger generation supposed to know anything about Augustus Caesar, Oliver Cromwell, Bing Crosby, King George V and it didn’t stop there. Not surprised a table of “oldies” collected the chocolates.

Also good to see that Michael McCormack and Adrian Piccoli have aspirations of singing, perhaps a Nationals Xmas album; save that for another time. Great night and once again many thanks to the Nationals for the invite.

District Inner Wheel at Narrandera

District Inner Wheel at Narrandera

Many thanks to all the regional delegates of Inner Wheel who invited me to entertain them at their annual changeover at Narrandera Golf Club. It is always enjoyable to perform in front of a fun crowd, especially following a lovely meal provided by the Golf Club. Wonderful to see a large group of ladies enjoying themselves and at the same time raising awareness for important projects such as cord blood research.

I had a great day, Thank You.

Mother’s Day at Temora

What a great day at Temora Services Club to entertain the many Mums and their families who celebrated a special day at the club with either morning tea, lunch or both. Great to catch up with the  many friends in Temora and always a pleasure to be singing in the Services Club. Just a pity I had  a University assignment to complete so couldn’t stay longer to chat. Will hopefully be back soon;

Happy Mother’s Day to all  mums!

Singing on the Harbour

Singing on the Harbour

IFSinging on a six million dollar boat cruising around Sydney Harbour past the  Opera House, Lunar Park and the Sydney Harbour bridge; definitely a moment that I will remember for a long time.

To be invited to entertain 300 guests consisting of past, current and potentially future Australian Olympians was a great honour and many thanks to Peter Hadfield and the NSW Olympians Club Committee for asking me to be part of your Annual Dinner. I very much appreciated the opportunity to be part of your evening and the setting could not have been better.  At one point while performing, I looked across the room through the windows to see the huge smiling face that is the iconic symbol of “Lunar Park” and thought “It doesn’t get much better than this”. To cruise past the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and all the lights around Sydney Harbour at night was a highlight on its own; to have the atmosphere of a room full guests at a dinner all enjoying themselves and to have the honour to sing to them only added to the experience.

Once again a huge thank you to the NSW Olympians Club for the invitation ….. but you can have your Sydney traffic and your rain, especially the combination of both at the same time!

Temora Services Club

A big thank you to all the members and guests who supported me at the Temora Services Club on Saturday night. It  was great to catch up with friends and members of the Temora community who have supported me in the past and good to meet some new “fans’ who made the night one to remember. I had a great time and hopefully can repeat the experience soon.

P.S. I am working on some of the song requests you suggested, thanks again.

NSW Olympians Club Annual Dinner

NSW Olympians Club Annual Dinner

Very excited to have been invited to entertain around 300 guests at the NSW Olympians Club Annual dinner on the 4th April. Even more exciting is the venue; the “Bella Vista”, a $6 million dollar glass vessel that will be sailing around Sydney Harbour for the duration of the dinner. Guests at the dinner will include notable past Australian Olympians and some current Olympians from the 2012 games so should be a great night and one to remember.

Next Appearance

My next appearance will be at Charles Sturt University, not as a singer but as a student. Yes, off to Uni to begin a Bachelor of Nursing degree.

Apart form my studies, there are plenty of performances listed on my schedule and currently being organised at various venues that will appear shortly on the site. My next few appearances will be in Junee, firstly at the Rhythm n’ Rail Festival on Saturday  2nd March where a great selection of acts will perform on stage as well as many buskers around the streets. A fantastic weekend assured, For more information goto the web site.

The following week I will return to Junee for a function at Monte Cristo Homestead; a place I have wanted to visit for many years and hopefully I will not find too many ghosts singing along with me. Many thanks to the Junee View club for the invitation to be part of your evening.

On Saturday the 16th March I will be performing at the Temora Ex Services club where free admission will give you a night of entertainment covering all music genres.  The busy schedule continues…
